PHILIP MORRIS AWAITS AUTHORIZATION TO INVADE AMERICA WITH HIS IQOS
The world's largest tobacco manufacturer, owner of the Marlboro brand, has said that if the FDA allows its request, its US affiliate, Altria Group, will be responsible for selling the IQOS system in the United States. So far, over 3 million iQOS products have been sold in Japan and it was in April 2016 that sales started with test cities.
Also in negotiations with the New Zealand government, Philip Morris plans to gradually install its new IQOS system around the world.
