POLITICS: Elisabeth Borne still vapes at the assembly and it is controversial

While a real hunt for bad behavior is currently taking place within the National Assembly itself, Elisabeth Borne, Prime Minister is the object of all attention after having used her vape in the hemicycle. If this is not the first time that the boss of the government takes a few discreet puffs of nicotine, this time it does not pass.

POLITICAL PROBLEM OR INTOLERANCE TO VAPING?

This is the controversy of the moment, a real concern of the French! How could the current Prime Minister once again go beyond the limits by using her vape in the hemicycle? Indeed, on July 19 during the session of questions to the government, Elisabeth Borne discreetly used his electronic cigarette under his mask, a serious gesture according to many mainstream media.

So is vaping allowed in the hemicycle ? According to the article L3513-6 of the Public Health Code, it is forbidden to vape in closed and covered workplaces for collective use. Nevertheless, this ban was the subject of a decree in April 2017, clarifying the law:

«Workplaces subject to the ban on vaping in application of 3° of the article L.3513-6 of this code means premises receiving workstations located or not in the establishment's buildings, closed and covered, and assigned to collective use, with the exception of premises which are open to the public.»

Clearly, if Elisabeth Borne wants to use her vape in complete peace of mind, she must go to certain demarcated areas that welcome outsiders. Should we make it a major political issue? ? Once again it seems that vaping is a controversial subject that is causing a stir for the media.
