After four years of decline, the volumes released for consumption legally in France grew by 1,9%, according to the Commission des comptes de la sécurité sociale.
This trend could very well continue in 2016, considers the Commission quoted by Les Echos.
State accounts should benefit from this trend: in 2015, the duties levied on tobacco could increase by 1,5%, to 11,4 billion euros (excluding VAT).
