Initially, there is a common urge of two high school friends to quit smoking " Tanguy came to me with an electronic cigarette telling me that it was something great“, Says Olivier Dréan. " We both really hooked on the product, we both quit smoking with the product and we saw the craze it created around us.“, Adds Tanguy Gréard. The two ex-smokers therefore decide to embark on the adventure. In 2008, they have 5000 euros in their pocket.
Today, Le petit vapoteur has a turnover of 35 million euros. Its merchant site (the company also has seven stores), has nearly 8000 references and receives 2800 orders and 800 new customers daily. 70 employees take turns day and night to meet demand. The warehouse, based in Tourlaville, in the Cherbourg conurbation, has become too small to satisfy the ambitions of the still young company. The latter therefore decided to triple the surface, without moving.
