In Poland, the government, which introduced a tax of 17 euro cents on e-liquids for 2018, has just reconsidered its position. Unfortunately, the decision is still far from reassuring the vaping industry.
12 CENTIMES D'EUROS PER ML: THE LOWEST E-LIQUID TAX IN EUROPE
This may be the only thing that can put a smile on the face of vapers and the vape industry in Poland. While in July, the Ministry of Finance proposed a tax of 17 euro cents per milliliter of e-liquid (i.e. 1,70 euros for a 10 ml bottle), the Polish Council of Ministers decided to lower this tax at 12 cents and submit it to parliament.
With this drop, Poland will have the smallest tax in Europe on e-liquids, this meager consolation will obviously not be enough to reassure the vaping industry in Poland already worried for some time.
Vape manufacturers are worried, according to them there are risks that after January 1, 2018, many companies will find themselves forced to close or move abroad.
